Gericke was founded in 1989 by Jan Gericke as Jan Gericke Agentskappe. Jan Gericke believed in reliable products at affordable prices, and worked closely with reputable suppliers to provide trusted hardware to agricultural businesses in the Northern- and Western Cape provinces of South Africa.

Jan Gericke's son, Jannie, joined in 2002 and expanded the business to become a nation-wide wholesaler of globally sourced hardware products. More than three decades later, Gericke is still a proudly South-African, family-owned business with deep roots in the agricultural sector.

Today, Gericke supplies a carefully selected range of products from prominent local and international brands to gardening-, agriculture-, retail- and industrial businesses. We work closely with our suppliers to provide our customers with hands-on service and hardware products that can be trusted.
